Where are we?
We are ideally located just off the A7 between Edinburgh (20 miles) and Galashiels (10 miles). The Edinburgh City By-Pass, Melrose and Galashiels can be reached in under 30 minutes. A train from Gorebridge (10 minutes away) takes only 28 minutes into Edinburgh Waverley.

The Borders has some exceptional cycling. It is a Mecca for mountain biking, with both Innerleithen (30 minutes) and Glentress (40 minutes) being recognised centres of excellence. The rolling landscape and network of minor roads throughout the surrounding countryside are also a tough test for road cyclists. Simulated Clay Shooting - Corsehope Flyers

Local Festivals and Events
There are many annual festivals in the locality including the Borders Book Festival in Melrose in June and the Common Ridings, historic gatherings dating back to the 13th and 14th century which run from June until August in a variety of towns throughout the Scottish Borders. Rugby 7’s was born in the Borders and the Melrose 7s, the oldest rugby sevens competition in the world, takes place in April every year.
