We are 27 miles from Edinburgh Airport and 20 miles from Edinburgh Waverley Station, approximately 40 minutes drive from both. The house is located just off the A7 which is served by the X95 bus and there are stations in Stow and Gorebridge with a regular services to Edinburgh Waverley.

From the North
From Sherriffhall roundabout on the Edinburgh City Bypass, take the A7 south, passing Eskbank, Newtongrange, Gorebridge and Heriot,
Stay on the A7 heading south, pass the turning to Heriot and after just over 1 ½ miles there is a turn off to the left to Gilston (B6368). Shortly after this there is a layby and a couple of hundred yards after this, there is a gate lodge on the left, just before the corner. Turn left up the drive just before the gate lodge and follow the drive up to the house.
From the South
From Galashiels, take the A7 north through Stow. Pass the turning for Fountainhall on the left, continuing on the A7 along the straight and past the quarry on the right. The road then enters a series of bends. Pass the entrance to Crookston Mill on the right and the former gardener's house, next on the right. Go slowly at this point and turn right immediately after the gate lodge, also on the right. Drive through the gates and follow up the drive to the house.
If you miss the turn into the drive after the gate lodge , continue on the A7 and do a 'U' turn in the Gilston road entrance (B6368) on the right, after a few hundred yards. Having turned, heading back south down the A7, pass the layby on the left and a couple of hundred yards after this, turn left, just before the gate lodge. Drive through the gates and up the drive to the house.
From the North
